The Dexter Headboard portrays the uniquely historic look of simple beds from an era we thought was gone. The geometry of the headboard relies exclusively on right angles to create a handsome headboard with pared down fussiness. The clean intersections of the vertical and horizontal elements reveal a decidedly masculine profile. The headboard provides spindles and displays 8 solid castings; this element gives the overall construction a hearty and sturdy nature not found in others at this price point. The headboard stretches 52'' tall and is finished in Hammered Brown.

Leggett & Platt's Consumer Products Unit was formed in 1995 by combining the activities of two existing Leggett Divisions with a recent acquisition. Together the three entities formed Leggett's Consumer Products Unit. They were the Fashion Bed Group, the Consumer Products Division, and Vantage Industries. The focus of the business Unit was clear: to serve the consumer through the retail community, with those products produced and/or distributed by Leggett, that are sold as packaged end-products directly to the retail community.
